The Governors of Moor End Community Primary School are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who will play a pivotal role in driving our school forward, with the full support of the Governing Board and the wider Senior Leadership Team.This is an exciting opportunity for applications from suitably qualified, inspirational, and experienced teachers with proven leadership and management skills to play a pivotal role as Deputy Headteacher in our happy, hardworking, and successful school. Moor End is a unique school that offers specialist provision for a number of children in our SERF unit, which has become a vital resource within the local community.We are looking for someone who shares our values, ethos, and vision, and who:
- Is an experienced class teacher.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to further develop the leadership team. The school works very closely together in all aspects of school improvement, and we want someone who can further develop the divergent leadership across the school.
- Is ambitious and creative, and willing to support our team in moving the school forward.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and will work closely with children, parents, staff, and governors.
- Is approachable and understanding.
- Is able to think creatively and lead their own area without support from the Headteacher.
- Demonstrates drive, experience, and creativity to build on our current high standards of teaching through continuous school improvement.
- Is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that supports the diverse pastoral and academic needs of all pupils, ensuring they thrive both personally and academically.
