The Talent Crowd are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to work with one of our clients based in Manchester supporting adults living with Autism and or Learning Disabilities with behaviours that may challenge.

This role is a fulltime permanent contract. You will be required to work three days completing specific management duties and two direct support days.

We are looking for an individual that has experience of working either as a Senior support worker or as a Deputy Manager. This would be a great career opportunity for an experienced Senior support worker to apply to enhance your skillset and experience. This is a busy service where no two days are the same.

This role consists of the following.

  • Completion and overall management of the staffing rota ensuing the service is adequately staffed.
  • Completion and ongoing management of internal audits that follow the company policy, expectation and CQC requirements.
  • To ensure staff remain compliant with service specific training and therefore organise, book, and monitor training statistics.
  • To spend two days a week providing direct support to the people they provide care for with the ability to guide and oversee junior staff.
  • To complete staffing appraisals, one to ones and overall performance reviews.
  • To address any staffing concerns that may arise.
  • To mentor and provide support to junior staff
  • To have the ability and experience to build a person specific care plan.
  • To review, amend care plans when required.
  • To ensure all documentation is completely to fall in line with company policy, expectations and CQC requirements.
  • To support with recruitment such as conducting interviews, engaging new recruits, and supporting the onboarding team.

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience at a Senior, Team Leader or Deputy Manager role. In addition, you will need to have strong management skills to guide and mentor a large team of support workers with support from the Registered Manager.
