Job Summary We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our Developer community by providing tools and technology support for DevOps tools on the RBC pipeline. You will gain top-notch experience across various tech stacks through collaboration with Developers and Engineers across the enterprise who rely on your partnership to help solve technical challenges. With the goal to transform and accelerate our software delivery by providing tools and technology support. The role will also focus on for supporting our customers, assist with automation and maintain and Administer tools as the central orchestrator of Agile and DevOps activities with a mandate to drive down delivery/change lead times.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Design and build innovative solutions in using DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Open Shift, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Nexus, Checkmarx and UrbanCode DeployMaintain and configure source code/artifact repository tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Nexus.Maintain and configure security scanning tools such as SonarQube, NexisIQ, Snyk and CheckmarxTroubleshoot issues related to artifact and scanning tools on the pipelineUse automation to improve the efficiency and usability of the toolsCreate and maintain scripts used by automation processesCreate and maintain technical documentation and user-guides including complex runbooks to ensure proper process executionEvaluate and manage the use of applications on the pipeline to meet users’ needsWork with application teams to identify procedural efficienciesDevelop, test, and deploy integrations for artifact and security scanning tools into the pipelineWhat do you need to succeed?Must have’s :5+ years relevant working experienceStrong working experience on DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, OpenShift, SonarQube, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible, NexusIQ and Checkmarx.Significant experience building automated pipelines.Experience working with container technologies ( such as Docker and Kubernetes )Networking and infrastructure experience working with proxy, firewall etc.Working experience in both Windows and Linux environmentsNice to have’s :Working experience with UrbanCode Deploy.Experience in languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash, Java, JavaScript and/or node.jsExperience configuring and using monitoring and alerting tools—Dynatrace and Pager DutyExperience working in an Agile environmentWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
