Job description
As a Director Business Development, Digital Identity in our North American Business Development team, you will be responsible for further developing existing and new business with North American federal, provincial, and state governments in the field of digital identity. You’ll also manage and mentor junior teammates, growing their capabilities and guiding them towards future success in a business development capacity.

What You Will Do
- Establish an overall plan for a complete range of business development activities with N.A. in the digital ID field and develop and prioritize sales pursuit plans and strategies;
- Identify and introduce key decision makers in target Governments to our products and services and develop and maintain relationships with them;
- Lead clients through a consultative business development/sales process;
- Participate in strategic planning, business development and marketing activities;
- Liaise with CBN subject matter experts to build and maintain a set of core competencies in the application of emerging digital identity standards and technologies;
- Maintain business development plans and prepare monthly updates on order timing and revenues, adapting plans when necessary to ensure targets are met;
- Manage assigned Business Development team members and foster their development in complex solution selling, business relationship building and effective customer management; and
- Various other duties and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- University degree in IT, engineering or business related field
- Experience in digital identity solution development/sales
- Experience with B2G sales (RFI/RFPs, lengthy sales cycles, compliance, negotiation, etc.)
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS 365
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational/time management/prioritization skills
Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
- Fluently bilingual (English and French)
- Ability to travel extensively throughout North America
