Requisition ID: 210064Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.As the Digital Product Manager for the Trading, Investing & Advice team, you will contribute to the overall success of the roadmap and drive a dedicated backlog with partners in Digital Product Design, Wealth Management, and Engineering. You will mainly oversee the rollout of native digital mobile experiences, with a secondary focus on rollout of digital web experiences. Additionally, you will be responsible for engaging customers, incorporating feedback from participants, prioritizing key features and experiences, and more. You will partner with other product managers, designers, bank stakeholders, and software engineers, to translate client journeys into actionable, prioritized backlog deliverables and follow through to delivery. This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.In this role you will:
- Apply agile product management practices to prioritize effectively and manage interdependencies across key scrum teams
- Partner closely with Product Design and Engineering to ensure a user experience across client segments that is logical, engaging, and accessible
- Prioritize and manage a dedicated backlog with partners in Digital Product Design, Wealth Management, and Engineering, at Scotia Digital
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Use data to drive decisions, building hypotheses, testing and iterating, including planning for the right incorporation of data and analytics strategies into roadmap
- Maintain a prioritized backlog, supports the creation of detailed user stories, and participates in sprint planning and review activities. Engages day to day with the scrum teams, clarifying questions and helping with decision making.
- Plan for and consider reusability of Canadian components in other markets across the Bank’s International footprint.
- This will be a Technical Product role
- Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in building customer facing digital products
- 2+ years experience working on mobile platforms
- Knowledgeable about multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Finance
- Ability to build trusted relationships, instill confidence and influence stakeholders
- Experience with financial products and services in direct investing, wealth management, and/or advice
- Master of identifying and solving ambiguous problems to drive customer and business value
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Great verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations
- Engineering, Computer Science or Business degrees considered an asset
- CSC (Canadian Securities Course) an asset
