Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?CAE Group is looking for a senior Organizational Change Director to lead change initiatives relating to our multi-year strategic transformation. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to design and implement change readiness strategies that drive employee readiness and successful adoption of changes relating to RBC CAE Group’s multi-year strategic transformation.By leveraging best-in-class change management practices, you will help drive faster adoption, improved outcomes, and higher proficiency for changes across the function. Your efforts will enable the CAE Group to achieve critical business goals such as benefit realization, value creation, and long-term sustainability of implemented changes. As a leader, you will work closely with project sponsors and senior stakeholders to support teams and employees through their change journey.This role is ideal for a strategic, energetic self-starter with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas, fostering engagement and alignment across the business.What will you do?

  • Change Management Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end change management plans across various projects within the CAE Group, including organizational structure changes, technology and data product rollouts, and process/methodology updates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with key stakeholders, including Learning & Development, Employee Experience, Communications, Delivery Excellence, Data Management & Analytics, Project Management, and others to ensure seamless execution of change initiatives.
  • Drive change adoption: Devise and implement strategies to enhance the adoption and long-term sustainability of change efforts, identifying opportunities to build resilience to change across the function. Identify risks related to change adoption, develop mitigation tactics, and manage persistent resistance to change to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Consulting & Advisory: Provide guidance to project teams on effectively integrating change management activities into their project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Impact Analysis & Success Metrics: Assess change initiatives, identify key stakeholders, conduct impact analysis, and evaluate change readiness. Develop strategies to enhance adoption and mitigate resistance across the organization. Define, measure and report on success metrics.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver impactful training that incorporates technical and large-scale implementation aspects, to enhance stakeholder readiness and ensure proficiency.

What do you need to succeed?Must-Have:

  • 10-12 years of proven experience leading / supporting transformational change management
  • Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies, and systems using a variety of change management methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey change vision, manage expectations, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Effective facilitation and presentation skills

Nice-to-have:

  • Working knowledge or experience in financial services
  • Experience in training and development and/or corporate communications
  • Experience with technology rollouts and digital transformation to manage tech-driven changes
  • Change management certification or designation desired (e.g., Prosci Certification)
  • Experience working in a global environment and managing change across different regions
