Job SummaryJob Description*This is a Mat Leave coverage till 11/2025*WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Director, CDO Strategic Initiatives & Enterprise Literacy will work with key stakeholders within CDO to establish the CDO’s Target Operating Model and supporting roadmap and ensure the management reporting is aligned to the CDO priorities, and accurate. This will involve working with various stakeholders within CDO to ensure things are tracked as expected and that the management reporting aligns to any relevant operational reporting already in place. There are also specific strategic initiatives that the CDO Operations Office will lead directly, and the Director will be expected to work with stakeholders to determine goals, devise plans and manage budgets to completion. This includes but will not be limited to achieving the CDO Target Operating Model. In addition to this, the Director will oversee the existing Enterprise Data Literacy program and bring it beyond its current state.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Evolve the Enterprise Data Literacy Program by improving existing offering and developing a roadmap to the desired future state.
- Collaborate with CDO senior leadership and key stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and implement the CDO’s Target Operating Model and roadmap. This includes continuously assessing opportunities for improvement focusing on enterprise efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with key CDO stakeholders to establish the foundation of the CDO Management reporting in line with CDO strategic initiatives and maintain the CDO Management reporting on agreed cadence (KPIs, KRIs and related reports).
- Develop a framework for managing the CDO’s Business Cases which entails leading the creation of the overarching cases and supervising the team level PARs and business cases.
- Work with key stakeholders to align operational reporting to management reporting and align project management tooling and financial planning to CDO management reporting.
- Lead the development and execution of CDO Operations Office Strategic initiatives (Target Operating Model, Operational Excellence, partnerships with Data Decisioning and others)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the CDO, as well as key external stakeholders to the CDO.
- Lead the overarching communication and change management strategy.
- Lead and oversee the CDOs service level agreements and intergroup agreements.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:
- Relevant experience in project management and management reporting, in the banking sector
- Worked in large initiatives involving change management and operations management.
- Solid background in data governance and management
- Solid background in data literacy and education.
- Related experience in data (past data analyst, business intelligence, finance reporting, etc)
- Management of PM professionals
- Involvement in integration across financial and project management platforms
- Understanding of data governance, data management and data analytics
Nice-to-have:
- Python, Spark, SAS or SQL
