We’re on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.About the roleAs ATB’s next Director, EFS Strategic Growth – Acquisition & Client Engagement, you will work with teams across ATB to develop and deliver against the in-year growth strategies with a focus on acquisition, client engagement and advice for ATB’s retail and entrepreneurial banking business in Everyday Financial Services (EFS). Reporting to the Managing Director, EFS Strategic Growth, you will also actively participate in developing the longer term EFS Strategic Growth plans.You will work closely with our Client Experience and Technology (CXT) and Client Experience and Digital Product teams, as well as our EFS Pricing and Performance and our Communications and Marketing teams. You will be accountable for executing against strategic initiatives related to pursuing opportunities for growth, both in terms of revenue, market share and client experience. This role is crucial in driving the growth of EFS by aligning strategic objectives with operational execution, enhancing client engagement, and optimizing the experience and advice throughout our digital (direct to consumer) and human-centered channels. To achieve these objectives, you will need to possess a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and strong leadership abilities. By effectively executing against these strategic initiatives, you will contribute to the overall success of EFS and position it for continued growth in the future.AccountabilitiesCollaborate with partners and stakeholders to align on the strategic growth strategiesDevelop detailed end-to-end client experience plans and team member readiness plansAbility to coach and develop a high-performing dynamic teamLead a team of individuals with diverse skill setsUnderstand client needs, preferences, and expectationsSense and scan emerging client behaviour patterns, digital and industry trends to maintain competitive advantageAssess the capabilities and readiness of our digital and human-centric channels to deliver a seamless and consistent client experienceRecommend informed go/no-go decisions based on a comprehensive evaluation process and weigh the potential benefits and risks associated with proceeding or halting a project or initiativeDevelop a strategic plan for marketing a product or service, matching the client audience &/or segment with appropriate go-to-market positioningConsider factors such as market demand, competitive landscape, resource availability, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goalsCollaborate cross functionally across stakeholder groups on end to end client experience journeysCompose strategy documentation that may be used by all levels of the organizationDrive vision delivery, road mapping, goal setting and conflict resolution within team and cross functional partnersWork cross functionally with teams from across ATB including- Client Experience and Product, EFS Operations & Enablement, Finance, Marketing, and Risk to design strategy and ensure feasibility of projects and programsManage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentSkills, experience & requirementsPost secondary education- Bachelor degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing, or Management) or a related field, Master’s degree considered an asset10+ years working at a Financial Institution or a client-centered industry in progressively senior rolesExperience in leading a high-performing team, cross functional teamExpert level experience in developing retail banking & digital strategies (or equivalent)Expert level experience in developing client experience & direct to consumer strategiesProject and Program ManagementAbility to oversee and direct complex projects or initiatives, ensuring timely and successful executionSkill in implementing strategic plans, aligning them with organizational goals and objectivesProficiency in applying systems thinking principles to identify and address interconnectedness and complexity within organizationsExperience FundamentalsTeaming and leadershipCampaign design & executionClient centricity and value creationDigital marketingGrowth marketingGo-to-market planningExperience managementConsumer journey mappingStrategic planningDon’t meet all the requirements on the list?
