Job description

Looking for a Director of Community Services for a leading registered charity with a nationwide presence. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality community services across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and direct the Community Services delivered through our network of Resource Centres and Outreach Clinics around the country, to meet the needs of clients.
• Ensure the Organisation uses its resources efficiently to support as many people as possible.
• Drive the quality of services provided through service evaluations and client experience initiatives.
• Oversee the work and performance of Direct Reports across multiple locations
• Proactively work with HR to manage the Training & Development requirements for all Community Service staff.
• Oversee the operations of all Chime Resource Centres ensuring all locations are well maintained and presented including any refurbishment or relocation work.
• As part of the Senior Management Team contribute to the overall strategic leadership of the Organisation.
• Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organisation are met .
• Develop financial plans, budgets and business cases as required including achievement of funding goals where required.
• Prepare funding applications where required to Statutory and Non-Statutory bodies.

Experience/Requirements

• Relevant University degree or college diploma.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the non-for-profit or NGO sector
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• An ability to develop, implement and oversee good systems, processes, and procedures that delivery high quality services.

Remuneration Package €75 -85,000 per annum
