Assist the Managing Director in setting goals, developing strategies, and implementing action plans for the hotel to achieve overall objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for guest satisfaction and handle guest concerns in the absence of the Managing Director.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· To maintain ample knowledge and adapt to the departmental policies, service procedures and standards.· To ensure that the standards stay at a superior level daily and at any moment.· To supervise and direct the departments of Room Division, Engineering, Guest Relations, Boutique and Spa.· To participate in the direction and the control of the departments of Accounting, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources as required by the Managing Director.· To establish and create goals and strategies to achieve the operational and financial success of the hotel.· To keep in contact with the corporate offices in executing corporate goals.· To establish and maintain the standards of the hotel, to reach and maintain the “5 stars” FORBES status.· As a member of the Executive Committee, to work closely with other members to reach the goals and objectives of the hotel· Handles, responds and creates a strategy for all public and internal platforms guest satisfaction related.· To interact courteously and professionally with the guests, personnel and members of the community.· Respond courteously, professionally, and quickly to resolve any conflict with guests or personnel.· To maintain a clean and safe job atmosphere.· To do other required tasks as requested by the Managing Director.About UsPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityWhen it opened on January 20, 2011, the new Rosewood San Miguel de Allende heralds in a 21st Century’s version of a renaissance in one of the most historic of Mexican towns.
