Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Director of Payments Processing Solutions, EPT will have the opportunity to be the leader of a team consisting of application manager, development Manager, developers, support and SRE analysts and operational analysts as the organization evolves in its adoption of SRE, DevOps and Continuous Integration practices and GEN AI for a number of applications.This leader will be key in the strategy that drives the evolution and modernization of these systems that perform many payments related processing and manage the upgrade and re-platforming some of these applications. This work will include delivering key projects while maintaining operational excellence and support.What will you do?

  • Provide vision, strategic direction and leadership in driving the evolution of the existing payment systems.
  • Lead, coach and develop all members of the multi-functional and diverse team in their career growth and in the adoption of modern development practices.
  • Seek out industry trends and organization knowledge to understand alternative approaches / solutions
  • Promote innovative/ improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps automation tools , continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and SRE practices
  • Act as the main contact between business line (s), interfacing applications, 3rd party vendors, IT Executive and/or Project Managers. Key member of Executive Steering Committees as it pertains to the impact of projects on the applications in the portfolio. Key voice to the business on the application, roadmap initiatives, annual initiative planning, and escalation point for the business development/project related issues.
  • Manage all development delivery for the portfolio including completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related work experience
  • 10+ years of solid and demonstrated background in technical development and supporting applications and 5+ years managing IT technical teams
  • Solid experience with a variety of modern technologies/approaches including cloud-based deployments, API development and DevOps automation (UrbanCodeDeploy, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible), ELK Stack
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a leading member of global distributed technical team that delivers world class service
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing, motivating and providing mentorship to resources on high performing IT Development, Maintenance & Support Teams
  • Understanding and strong technical knowledge in development across various distributed and mainframe platforms
