Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the Avion Loyalty strategy and the day-to-day RBC Rewards program. You and team have direct responsibility for setting the strategy, roadmap, execution and ongoing monitoring of RBC Rewards performance, performance management, data and insights, as well as business and competitive intelligence. You will partner with the various LOBs, COEs, innovation teams and partners to development, manage and implement rewards and loyalty solutions. This role reports to the Senior Director Business Insights & Personalization.What will you do?Rewards Analytics (Data & Insights)Competitive benchmarking of performance and strategies against traditional and non-traditional global playersPartner with analytics COEs and Rewards business teams in campaign design, measurement & insights to optimize the marketing ROILead the analysis of client behaviour, market trends, competitive landscape to deliver data-driven insights to identify business opportunities and risks for RBC RewardsLead / support all data work streams of the Loyalty Transformation programLead the development and implementation of the personalization strategy with Rewards Engagement team and DNA teamImplement the self-serve strategy to enable faster and easier data access to the Rewards business teams (e.g. Tableau dashboard, ready-to-consume data file access)Leadership ExcellenceRecruit and develop a high performing team (team of 3-5)Role modeling the RBC Leadership Model attributes and behavioursEnsure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals.Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance.Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross enterprise mindset.Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities.What do you need to succeed?Must have:10+ years of combined data analytics & business management experienceStrong leadership development skillsDemonstrated leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong data & analytics background and experienceStrong communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated collaborative ability to partner with and direct a number of internal partnersStrong prioritization and organizational abilities – able to navigate through a heavily matrixed organizationStrong impact and influence skillsStrong perspective of global loyalty industry inclusive of emerging trends and performance metricsPayments / Credit Card / Loyalty business expertiseNice to have:Bachelor degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Business, Statistics.
