Job SummaryJob DescriptionJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Intelligent Operations combines traditional SRE with FinOps, SecOps, and AIOps to generate AI-powered insights and automated management of our IT systems, enhancing the efficiency and resiliency of our business processes. As Director, Product Owner, you will help create and drive the IntelligentOps strategic objectives, collaborating with the various Lines of Business throughout the Enterprise with your client-centric focus. In this high-visibility role, you will play a critical part in shaping and delivering the overall IntelligentOps strategy for RBC through a broad range of strategic and executional activities including strategic roadmap development, business casing and reporting excellence.What will you do?

  • Work with the various Lines of Business and their technical teams to build an overall understanding of the current observability and SRE practices, synthesizing best practices, opportunities for improvement and feature requests into a comprehensive IntelligentOps vision and strategy. Working with our stakeholders, develop a solid business case around the implementation of the IntelligentOps strategy.
  • Partner with the technical teams to develop and deliver a roadmap of features that provide rapid and incremental acknowledged value to the Lines of Business. Act as a trusted advisor to help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders and project teams through your rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis.
  • As an advocate and lead marketer for the IntelligentOps program, ensure stakeholders at all levels, from developers to senior executives, see value in the program and feel compelled to onboard. Continuously track and improve KPIs related to adoption and usage of the IntelligentOps program.
  • Develop a communications strategy to keep stakeholders up to date with the status of the program. Build customer feedback mechanisms to ensure rapid alignment between customers and the product team during the development process.
  • Work with our vendor partners to leverage and expand their capabilities, in line with the overall IntelligentOps strategy.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy or Management Consulting
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading and executing strategic projects, initiatives or transformation programs
  • Intellectual curiosity, robust problem solving, and strong data analysis capabilities
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability in project execution, prioritization and timeline management
  • Professional oral and written communication and presentation skills, and ability to engage senior leaders
  • Advanced skills in using MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations

Nice-to-have

  • MBA, or equivalent degree
  • Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models
  • Experience in Digital, Technology, risk management, and/or product management
  • Generative AI knowledge / experience
  • Knowledge of SRE and/or DevOps
