Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?Enables/leads the development, maintenance and operation of a Global Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) for the CAE Group, through directing the execution of the Global QA Plan, in support of: a) Quality Assurance, providing reasonable assurance to key stakeholders on adherence to the IA Charter, applicable IIA Standards and Code of Ethics and regulatory requirements/ expectations; and b) Improvements, through emphasis on assessing effectiveness and efficiency of operations. The QAIP role covers CAE Group operations globally, across all platforms, functions and RBC entities.What will you do?Lead Quality Assurance Reviews of CAE Group activitiesDevelop Annual Global and Regional QAIP PlansManage and enhance the quarterly QAIP reportingSupport internal / external assessments (e.g. regulatory exams)Develop and maintain QA work programsIdentify/ recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of CAE Group activities based on insights from QA reviews.Act as a trusted advisor to facilitate ideation, prioritization, development of strategic initiatives.What do you need to succeed?Undergraduate degree in business/ audit and professional audit designation (CIA/ CISA/ CPA).10 to 12 years of general or specialist audit experience (e.g. IT, Risk) and/or advisory experience in financial institutions with experience in QAIP, IA methodology, learning, audit project and people management.Experience in validation of regulatory issues (e.g., OCC/FRB).Financial Risk Management related education/ designations preferredWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
