Job Summary Responsible for coordinating second line of defense roles and responsibilities, developing and maintaining the Strategic Risk policy and risk taxonomy.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Director Strategic Risk will be responsible for coordinating second line of defense roles and responsibilities. The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining the Strategic Risk policy and risk taxonomy. Working collaboratively across risk stripes and regions will be imperative to ensure that strategic risk is managed in a consistent way and that the right risk stripes are involved in strategic processes.What will you do?Maintain the Strategic Risk PolicyProvide advice, review and challenge over strategic processes, including 3 year rolling strategic plan, annual plan, product development and other strategic programsEnsure consistency of risk management approach globally, including across regionsCoordinate second line of defense activity by acting as the primary point of contact for first line of defense and engaging second line SMEs as requiredPrepare reporting on strategic risk managementDevelop and maintain risk appetite and KRI measures and limitsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveExperience in risk management, experience with risk and controls, experience in strategy or strategic risk, experience in second line of defense role, experience working with data sets and performance indicatorsMBA, CPA, CRM or equivalent work experienceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, thinking progressively to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
