Come and join us as a Distribution Administrator at our Cheadle office in Stockport!Wienerberger is a leading international provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions. We improve the quality of life and shape the future of construction.About the roleReporting to the Distribution Team Leader, you will help our UK Distribution Function run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The main focus is managing sales orders set for delivery to our customers, which we arrange through a number of third-party logistics subcontractors. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that plays a key part in our customer experience.Duties are varied, and you will:
- Provide a helpful and efficient service to our haulage partners, customers, and internal Wienerberger departments, while dealing with any inquiries or delivery issues.
- Work closely with our production sites and port locations to ensure only loads issued to our hauliers are readily available for loading.
- Maintain quality, ensuring only booked-in deliveries are sent to our haulage partners.
- Spot opportunities for continuous improvement.
About YouYou will be an experienced administrator who has worked in a distribution, logistics, or warehousing environment. You will have great attention to detail and confidence using business technology and systems to process orders and deliveries.You will also have:
- Experience using SAP
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good general IT skills (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Customer service-driven skills
Hours of Work: 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to FridayAbout our Benefits
