We are currently seeking a talented and energetic District Sales Manager to join the Rockfon Sales team with a territory of New York City. The candidate will be based in the New York City area. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.· Sell Rockfon products at the best mix of average sales price and volume· Develop and execute Rockfon market strategies, both short and long term, while working directly with the Contractors (40%), Distributors (40%), Architects (10%) and Administrative (10%), selling and specifying Rockfon products· Present new products and conduct AIA presentations to Architects, designers and end users· Additional responsibilities include: account management including merchandising, updating binders, installing and maintaining displays, ensuring good price points, and stock checkingWhat You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Business or relevant field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial sales, interior finishes or ceilings preferred
- Skilled at building relationships with contractors and distributors
- Excellent presentation skills
- Microsoft Office expertise
- Ability to travel 50% with 35% overnight travel

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
