Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role you will be a part of (RBC GAM), the asset management division of RBC. RBC GAM is a provider of global investment management services and solutions to institutional, high-net-worth, and individual investors through separate accounts, pooled funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, exchange-traded funds and specialty investment strategies. The successful candidate will build new and thriving relationships with advisors and deepen existing relationships in order to grow market share within their assigned territory. The District Vice President will be accountable for successfully promoting RBC Funds, BlueBay Funds, PH&N Funds, and RBC iShares ETFs targeted within Saskatchewan.What will you do?Serve as the RBC GAM representative within Saskatchewan.Develop sales strategies to identify key advisors and potential new advisor clients to grow market share in your territoryDefine and execute the regional business strategy to contact the region’s key advisors on a regular basis, by phone and in person, to present sales ideas as well as updates on the market and products through one on one meetings, branch presentations and regional eventsManage and expand client coverage segmentation to grow focus relationships in target segmentsRespond to queries, feedback, suggestions and requests for marketing support and product information in a courteous, timely and professional mannerManage your regional budget to build your business within the parameters of the compliance guidelines and demonstrating the core RBC valuesLiaise effectively with the other regional sales teams and internal partners to foster national co-operation, uniformity of service delivery and to exchange sales ideas, market intelligence and competitor information.What do you need to succeed?
