The Document Integration Specialist will be responsible for integrating a finalized document titled ‘Beyond Being Heard: The Right of Children and Youth to Participate in a Changing World’ into UNICEF’s existing publication model. This role involves ensuring that the document, which is approximately 5,000 words, is presented in a visually appealing and accessible format. The specialist will work closely with provided Word/InDesign files to maintain consistent layout and design while incorporating the full text. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual communication to effectively convey important findings to stakeholders globally.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate the finalized text document into UNICEF’s existing publication model, ensuring consistency in layout and design.
  • Utilize provided Word/InDesign files to maintain a coherent visual presentation.
  • Research and select appropriate images from UNICEF’s database, ensuring they align with the document’s content and guidelines.
  • Apply suitable typography and visual hierarchy to enhance readability and engagement.
  • Highlight key quotes from young participants throughout the document to emphasize their voices.
  • Ensure correct formatting of titles, subtitles, footnotes, and resource lists.
  • Create visually distinct sections that align with the document’s structure for clarity.
  • Prepare final files for digital distribution, ensuring all elements are polished and professional.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in document design and integration, with proficiency in software such as Word and InDesign. A solid understanding of visual communication principles is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are crucial for success in this role.Educational Background:
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with relevant certifications or training in document design and layout will also be considered.Experience:
