  • Experience working with domestic violence survivors and/or Temporary Assistance for Domestic Violence Survivors (TA-DVS) policy
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills for a variety of audiences and projects.
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships with multicultural and diverse staff, advocates, Tribal nations, community partners, and other agencies
  • Ability to research, analyze and implement complex policies and procedures, administrative rules, comprehensive reports and briefings.
  • Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment within a collaborative team environment.

Policy Development & Analysis

  • Represents ODHS and the Domestic Violence Survivor Programs on statewide domestic violence and sexual assault program committees and/or workgroups.

Legislative Coordination

Training and Miscellaneous

  • Provides consultation on the development and review of training materials related to Domestic Violence Survivor program services.
  • Identifies training needs and consults in the design of curriculum regarding specific DVSP program information.

Working conditionsThis position is based in Salem, but will be mostly fully remote. It may require travel to Salem for occasional in-person meetings. It provides central office support and coordination for contracted services statewide. This position works in a professional environment. This position includes a great deal of analysis and problem-solving and may have to work with multiple partners who have conflicting priorities and requirements. The work schedule may include some non-traditional work hours in the evening and weekends.
