Key Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation and Coordination

Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of education activities in line with TDH policies and donor requirements.

Ensure the provision of quality education services, including formal and non-formal education, vocational training, and life skills programs.

Develop and adapt educational materials to align with the needs of the target population.

Coordinate with local education authorities, schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.

Facilitate capacity-building training for teachers and education staff.

2. Team Management and Supervision

Supervise and provide technical guidance to the education team, including teachers, facilitators, and field staff.

Conduct regular team meetings to assess progress, challenges, and solutions.

Ensure staff receive appropriate training and professional development opportunities.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

Monitor education activities to ensure quality implementation and alignment with project objectives.

Collect and analyze data on education interventions and submit reports as per donor and TDH requirements.

Ensure proper documentation of educational activities, best practices, and lessons learned.

Support external evaluations and assessments as needed.

4. Advocacy and Partnership Building

Advocate for children’s right to education and promote inclusive education practices.

Represent TDH in education coordination meetings and sector working groups.

Establish partnerships with local education authorities, NGOs, and donors to enhance program impact.

Strengthen community engagement and participation in education initiatives.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in education programming, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Experience in training and capacity-building of teachers and education personnel.

Knowledge of child protection, gender-sensitive education, and inclusive education practices.

Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a challenging and multicultural environment.
