EHS ManagerPosition Overview
The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs that comply with applicable regulations and standards. The role aims to ensure a safe working environment for all employees while minimizing environmental impact.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety analysis and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and facilitate root cause analysis investigations for incidents and accidents to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training and support to employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and prepare reports for management on compliance and safety performance.
• Coordinate and conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.
• Proven experience in conducting safety analysis and root cause analysis.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
