Job description
The construction department is looking for a highly organised, motivated and inspiring Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join its fast-developing team.
The centre is excited about a new employer-led project in developing learners through T-Levels within the industry specialising in the Building Services Engineering T-Level route, ensuring growth within the industry and developing the apprenticeship provision in the local sector to support our community.
This is an exciting position where the lecturer will be able to use their creativity and passion in this developing curriculum.
You will be teaching across the subjects supporting the centre across the new provision and have a key influence on the shape of the T Level within the new energy hub. You will be expected to be able to teach theoretical and practical sessions defined by the course specification covering Electrical Installation principles. The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the Construction industry whilst having the ambition of passing on their knowledge and experience to the future generation of engineers.
You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey industry standard information and ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner.
You will need to hold the relevant qualifications for the specialist area.

Experience in teaching and learning would be advantageous, although industry experience will be considered for those with the ambition of becoming an outstanding Lecturer. Fareham College will offer free teacher training to those wishing to enter the teaching profession
