Job description
ElectricianCorkFood ManufacturingMain Tasks:
- Machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving
- Performs repairs on buildings and equipment
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures
- Troubleshooting on electrical tasks as required
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Assist in the commissioning of projects as required
- Maintains records of scheduled maintenance and recording the data
- Assist the team with identifying areas for continuous improvement
- Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Qualifications, skills and attributes required:
- 3-5 years experience as a qualified electrician.
- Experience of working in a Production / Manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of responsibilities as per Safety, Health and Welfare
- regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving.
(The contract is based on a flexible shift rotation basis)Educational Requirements:
- Electrical qualifications (Industrial maintenance background)
- Computer literacy.
- CMM, Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage
