What will you be doing:
The EMEA Senior FP&A Analyst is key role in the commercially orientated FP&A team sitting at the heart of the EMEA Finance organization and due to recent changes in the team is a 12-month FTC. Reporting to the EMEA Senior FP&A Manager, working with EMEA FP&A Managers & Cluster Finance Directors to drive Reporting, Analysis and Insights across the region.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Consolidation lead for the EMEA P&L for Budget, forecast and Actuals. Reviewing results and providing detailed variance analysis to explain the business impacts.
- Lead the consolidation of the weekly DMR & monthly Sales Planning cycles, working closely with the local market teams to ensure that the submissions are accurate and the variances well documented and understood.
- Working with the FP&A manager for Distribution to drive alignment and understanding of key volume drivers at the different forecast cycles across the year.
- Key finance support for the EMEA S&OP process.
- Work closely with the Senior FP&A Manager, to support the Director of FP&A and Strategy & Senior Finance Director with Reporting, Analysis and Insights for the EMEA region as required.
- Leverage best practice in reporting and BI through the EMEA Regional FP&A team, ensuring consistency of reporting and analysis across the region and business area.
What skills and experience should you have?
We’re looking for a qualified (ACCA/ACA) finance professional who has working experience of using Hyperion/Essbase/EPM as their main consolidation tool. As well as this, you may have experience of other systems such as COGNOS, Tableau, Power BI or MS Dynamics.
You’ll have excellent analytical skills, be confident in presenting data to senior leaders and be naturally curious.
Having worked within a regional role previously, or a large matrix organisation will be advantageous to the success of the individual.
You’ll be able to operate in a dynamic and changing environment, manage multiple deadlines, display a high level of professionalism and organisational skills, maintain confidentiality as necessary and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention detail, good analytical and problem skills are key for this role.
