Job Title: Employee Relations / HR (Temp)
Location: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week in the office – London or Milton Keynes, with flexibility based on business needs)
Contract: Temporary until Christmas
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)
Department: HR
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000The Role
They are currently seeking a Temporary Employee Relations Specialist to join their HR team until Christmas. The role is hybrid, requiring at least one day per week in the office (either in London or Milton Keynes), with flexibility depending on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support in employee relations, ensuring the consistent and fair application of HR policies
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management
  • Advise managers on handling employee relations matters, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
  • Assist in performance management processes, ensuring support for employees and adherence to company standards
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to maintain compliance with UK employment laws and regulations
  • Work with team members and stakeholders to develop strategies for improving employee engagement and team performance

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in employee relations, with a proven ability to manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management cases
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business needs
  • Flexibility to work both remotely and in the office when required

Expected salary

£40000 – 45000 per year
