Position: Employment Training Officer
Location: Fredericton New Brunswick
Salary: $40,000 to $43,000 based on experience
Employment type: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individuals to enhance their employability.
- Provide guidance and support to participants in accessing education, vocational training, and job placement opportunities.
- Collaborate with community organizations, employers, and educational institutions to create partnerships and facilitate employment pathways.
- Conducting information session on the programs/service
- Carry out follow up with client after the employment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program participants and outcomes.
What do you bring to the job
- Post-secondary education
- French Bilingual is strongly preferred
- Customer service orientation and great communication skills
- Data entry skills along with an aptitude for numbers
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, perspectives, and issues related to employment and training.
- Experience in delivering training or educational programs, preferably within Indigenous communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect.
- Relevant qualifications in education, social work, community development, or a related field are desirable.

$40000 – 43000 per year
