You’ll help ensure agency communications meets the needs of the diverse communities in Oregon and you will provide guidance on administrative and programmatic facets of Oregon Eligibility Partnership operations concerning engagement strategies to inform eligibility operations policies. Consider taking on a key role in our team as the OEP Engagement Strategy Coordinator, Operations and Policy Analyst 3, OEP Equity & Engagement Strategy Unit, within the office of the Oregon Eligibility Partnership for the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).About the Oregon Eligibility Partnership:The Oregon Eligibility Partnership is the dedicated program that determines coordinated responsibility to ensure timely and accurate benefits for people who live in Oregon seeking supports related to health, food security, cash, and childcare benefits. The intent of this program is to shift Oregon from a programmatically siloed state to an eligibility process that moves beyond integration and equality to focus on equity of services and providing timely, accurate and necessary eligibility determination.The primary focus of this program is making eligibility determinations for medical programs, SNAP, TANF and ERDC while following the principles of person-focused, Service Equity, Customer Service, Consistency and Efficiency. Ultimately the goal of this program will be to work with the benefit recipients and community and agency partners to evolve our eligibility program, allowing standardization to meet the needs of individuals in their communities, focused generative approach where multi-generation, socioeconomic, and social determinants of health are addressed in providing information and solutions, and data to organizations focused on outcomes set with individuals.Summary of DutiesAs an Engagement Strategy Coordinator, you will:Promote and foster collaboration and an inclusive work environment that respects, understands, and honors the unique lived experiences of peers, benefit recipients, Tribal Nations, and the diverse communities in Oregon.Analyze data to identify disparities in equitable service delivery and develop outreach strategies to culturally and demographically specific community-based organizations and communities.Establish, lead and support committees for ONE system customer & community partner recommendations, developing agendas, long-range goals, inviting subject matter experts, and tracking outcomes.Develop, coordinate, and facilitate agency collaboration with cross-program and cross-agency partners, Community Partner Organizations, and community members.Manage the Community Engagement Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for OEP to build awareness of outreach internally and reduce duplication of contact externally.Collaborate with ODHS Tribal Affairs and Oregon’s Tribal Nations, and implementation of Tribal Consultation.Coordinate with community partners to analyze both agency and advocate policy proposals and recommend agency action to OEP leadership to improve legislative outcomes.Statewide communication and collaboration to coordinate agency-wide community engagement efforts.Minimum QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Political Science, Social Work, Organization Development, Civic Engagement or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

Employee’s work is conducted in offices, community venues and other program/partner sites.State-wide travel may be required, including overnight stays.Extensive use of computers, as well as facilitating and participating in workgroups, committees, and board meetings.Adjusting work hours during the week to accommodate project requirements may be necessary, pending appropriate approval.Expected to perform in an environment with fluctuating and urgent priorities due to consultation and participation in situations of critical incidences.Background Checks and RequirementsIf selected as a finalist, we will conduct a criminal history and background check.
