In this role you will:Lead a team of 15 to 20 IT professionals and responsible for systems analysis and application software development, onsite in the Scarborough Campus.Support complex Mainframe and API applications that are critical to the Bank’s transaction posting capabilities.Off hours support is required to assist team members in the support of our production environment in pager calls and outages.Manage the team in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices.Negotiate IT Project requirements (i.e. deadlines, budgets, resources, etc.).Collaborate and align across all areas of the enterprise that impacts value delivery (scope, budget, risk and resources) of the work effort being managed.Build and maintain a strong working relationship with peers within the business lines.Accountable for managing assigned project and/or departmental budgets.Meet scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner, ensure compliance with IT Technology Roadmap and has an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing software projects and programs using Agile framework.Lead the team with a continuous improvement mindset and promote an environment of curiosity and experimentation.Guide the team in adopting new ways of working, exploring enhancement in ways that align with the Bank’s strategic priorities ie- cost optimization, stabilization, delivery of new capabilities.Act with urgency and criticality, evaluate problems blockers and bottlenecks, identify actions to be taken, assist the team to recommend/implement solutions.Support of the Bank’s transformation in operating models, Agile mindset and passion for change.Guide and support the team in development and career growth.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
