This role emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, requiring both technical expertise and strategic insight to drive projects from concept to production.You’ll work closely with clients to translate their vision into technical roadmaps, ensure timely delivery, and help tackle complex engineering challenges, fostering sustainable success and growth for our clients and our team.The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong background in leading end-to-end product development and engineering projects within a product development or consulting setting, with experience transferring products to high-speed automated manufacturing environments.Independent and adaptable, you should excel in both technical and team-oriented challenges, with a talent for structuring and budgeting projects. Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling them to present complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a passion for innovation and high-quality work are also key.Responsibilities:

• Oversee project execution as a project manager, guiding teams to meet both client and organisational goals effectively.
• Manage project budgets, scope, and milestones, ensuring delivery meets agreed quality standards and cost targets.
• Lead planning, costing, and proposal drafting for new projects, incorporating insights from colleagues, subject experts, and sales.
• Build strong client relationships through credible, proactive engagement.
• Mentor and support team members, particularly junior staff, in developing their skills and expertise.
• Contribute to business growth by networking, representing the company, and actively participating in proposal development.

Expected salary

£80000 – 90000 per year
