Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Enumerators to assist with data collection for the National Action Plan (NAP) project in Iraq. Enumerators will be responsible for conducting surveys, interviews, and other data collection activities in the field. The collected data will be used to track and assess the implementation and impact of the National Action Plan. This role is crucial in ensuring that data is accurately gathered and that community voices are heard and represented in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups with project participants and stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner.
Accurately record responses and other relevant information in prescribed formats (paper forms, tablets, etc.).
Ensure data quality by following all instructions and guidelines for data collection.
Collect qualitative and quantitative data from diverse populations, ensuring inclusivity and a comprehensive representation.
Verify data integrity by cross-checking responses during the collection process.
Report and submit completed data to supervisors in a timely manner.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data privacy during all stages of data collection.
Address and report any challenges or issues encountered in the field.
Assist with translating and interpreting surveys, interviews, and other documents when necessary.
Collaborate with other enumerators and project staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection.
Provide feedback on the data collection process and suggest improvements where applicable.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications:
Proven experience in data entry, administration, or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data entry tools.
Experience working with databases or data management systems (preferably with a focus on project monitoring and evaluation).
Familiarity with the National Action Plan framework or similar national development initiatives is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
Familiarity with data security and confidentiality protocols.
Desired Skills:
Experience working on international development projects or government initiatives.
Understanding of Iraq’s socio-political context and development priorities.
Ability to handle large volumes of data with precision and efficiency.
