The VacancyRSK Environment part of RSK Group’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Planning and Design team has an exciting opportunity for a university student to join the RSK Environment team based in the Hemel Hempstead office for 12 months. Working alongside an experienced team you will work on a vast array of high-profile, contemporary, cutting-edge projects from the day you start, ensuring that you are able to make a positive impact on the environment. The role provides a paid-break from your studies to give you an insight into the professional world of environmental consultancy.RSK Environment are heavily involved in environmental coordination, assessment and management of tenders and projects in a diverse range of sectors including; energy generation and distribution (including renewables and net zero), rail, highways, residential and commercial development.It’s an exciting time to join RSK as we transition through significant growth.   • You will take a key role assisting and supporting with tender and project work
  • Assisting with the coordination of technical teams
  • Writing reports for clients
  • Desk-based research
  • Analysis and interpretation of tender and project data
  • To broaden your knowledge of the EIA process and to gain practical field experience, there will be opportunities to go out on site, gathering data and carrying out technical surveys

Person Specification

  • A passion and interest in the environment and sustainability
  • A general appreciation of consultancy and, in particular, EIA
  • An enthusiastic approach, willingness to listen/learn, can-do attitude and openness to opportunity
  • Clear, concise and confident communication
  • Precise analytical skills

Salary and Benefits
