Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC is hiring a Equipment Finance Associate to drive a high quality, differentiated client experience for Commercial Banking clients through servicing and fulfillment of complex leasing transactions and required documentation. You will take end to end responsibility and be the single point of contact for RBC clients, Leasing Sales Managers, Leasing vendors and legal parties where required. Additionally, you will take ownership and personal accountability for accurate and efficient execution and control of leasing transactions due diligence within established turnaround timeframes and identify and resolve issues at source, making it easier to enhance and build the client and partner relationships.What will you do?
- Act as a single point of contact to provide deep knowledge and experience of RBC Leasing products and services to ensure a positive client experience and mitigation of operational/credit risk
- Be responsible for efficient and effective end to end co-ordination and service delivery for high risk, high complex e.g. non-standard leasing transactions and required documentation etc.
- Act as advocate for the client experience using resources and logical techniques to investigate and evaluate complex issues which may be outside of policy/process/procedural guidelines in order to satisfy the client needs/client escalation
- Provide ongoing coaching for Leasing Sales Managers as required to ensure credit and operational risks and workflow processes are comprehended and followed. Include system and application navigation assist/coaching where required
- Exercise judgment in making decisions, with high level escalations referred to appropriate levels
- Able to identify and act upon efficiency and effectiveness opportunities through effective listening, probing and clarifying
- Work on several bank/leasing applications e.g. synergy, CMS, EDGE, ASSET e-mail in order to complete tasks
- Follow established Coaching Routines and related activity to drive high performance and enhance client experience

- Strong knowledge of lease, financing and ancillary documentation
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems by generating, evaluating and implementing alternatives
- Detail-oriented and able to comprehend the terms and conditions of contracts
Nice-to-have
- Centre of expertise on equipment financing documentation. Knowledge and understanding of credit policies, security documentation, systems abilities and policies and leasing
- Superior understanding of PPSA (The Personal Property Security Act ) laws across the country
- Strong knowledge of T-Value, HP Calculator, MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Fluently Bilingual in French and English languages (written and oral communication)
