Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of ESOL students, including those speaking Palestinian Arabic and Ukrainian.
- Develop lesson plans that address language learning challenges while emphasizing students’ strengths.
- Foster confidence and fluency in English among ESOL students.
- Build strong, positive relationships to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
- Experience working with ESOL students, particularly those speaking Palestinian Arabic and Ukrainian.
- Proficiency in teaching English language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students’ lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
