ESTIMATOR CAD DRAUGHTSPERSON, £32,000pa to £38,000pa, PERMANENT, IMMEDIATE START, 28 DAYS LEAVE, PENSION, PARKING, XMAS SHUTDOWNOur client is a custom manufacturer of high-quality steel products for construction and railway industry based within Peterborough. They are currently looking for an Estimator CAD Draughtsperson to join the sales team.You will be skilled in the use of TurboCAD or AutoCAD and proficient in using Microsoft Office. Reporting to the Sales Director, you take responsibility for researching and producing quotes, correctly storing files and liaison with clients when required.Duties of the Estimator:
- Producing accurate quotes.
- Responding to emails and checking status of customer orders.
- Building client relationships.
- Logging enquiries, tracking status of and understanding if a job is workable.
- Producing technical drawings as and when required.
- Building a database and contacting sub-contractors as and when required.
- Understanding cost and time scales.
- Accurately storing sales files in the correct format using an online filing system.
Requirements Needed:
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to problem-solve and be proactive.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an estimator or coster.
- 2D/3D computer software experience.
