  • As a subject matter expert on Ethics and Compliance matters, you will collaborate and support our teams to ensure we are delivering value to the healthcare system and to the patients we are serving.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks and provide strong advice in a highly regulated and challenging environment.
  • Build and provide training to AbbVie’s employees on Ethics and Compliance matters.
  • Develop and drive awareness campaign on ethics and compliance matters at all levels of the Canadian Organization.
  • Lead and drive the annual monitoring program in collaboration with the Office of Ethics and Compliance Global Operation team and represent the Canadian organization in Global initiatives related to the program by implementing and sharing best practices.
  • Support the OEC Director in implementing and driving the Global risks assessment in Canada and work closely with all Canadian leaders to build risk matrix and annual assessment plan.
  • Participation and support business unit partners for internal and external audits.
  • Lead policies simplification and integrate external changes impacting our Compliance and policy framework.
  • Find and identify strategic solutions to support impactful initiatives and strategic projects in alignment with our compliance and regulatory framework.
  • Representing the Canadian organization in Global and Regional projects.

QualificationsEducation/Experience required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in law, business, finance, public administration or related field
  • Relevant business experience:
  • In a highly regulated industry
  • In a position of a key contributor to the Ethics and compliance matters
  • Proven experience and exposure to risks assessment process
  • Proven experience in leading a monitoring program
  • Understanding the Canadian healthcare environment, Health Canada approval process and the Canadian structure around pricing and access.

  • French and English (oral and written).

  • Comfortable navigating through regulations and policies
