We currently have an opportunity for an Event Coordinator to join the Venue Hire team in a hybrid role which sits across both our sales and operations teams. Working with weddings and event clients managing sales enquiries and venue viewings while supporting the operations team with administrative duties throughout the peak summer season as well as the delivery of private and corporate events.

The role will sit across both the sales and operations team. The sales component will involve responding to initial enquiries and conducting show-rounds of venues delivering an excellent standard of customer service. Ensuring high standards of quality are maintained in all aspects of the sales process, as well as consistently meeting deadlines and sales targets.
The operation component will focus on administrative tasks to support the operations team’s function across the wider Gardens. While personally managing an allocation of small-scale events including responding to client enquiries, conducting venue site visits for clients ands suppliers to plan all the details in the lead up to events. Followed by proactively managing the on the day event logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will develop relationships with external suppliers to ensure high standards are maintained in all aspects of the planning and delivery of venue hire events.
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential for this role, as well as having exceptional attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in the events industry, who is enthusiastic, has a lot of initiative and likes to get ‘stuck-in’, enjoys working in a team and has a great eye for detail. You will be required to work weekends and evenings on a regular basis.
This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary will be £26,581 per annum pro-rata.
