The successful candidate will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and provide support for a 12-person senior commercial team who in turn support over 1,200 staff in North America.The successful candidate will be responsible not only for administrative logistics but also for helping execute critical and strategic activities on behalf of the Chief Commercial Officer. This will require working with and across numerous teams locally and globally while embracing critical thinking and independent decision-making skills. Assignments from leaderships may require the successful candidate to flesh out approaches and define expected outcomes.Other activities may include, providing or facilitating administrative support to senior commercial team, collaboration with leadership to identify, develop, and implement high-impact improvements, serve as liaison to executive and office administrators across North America, and support leadership in developing appropriate reporting and communication activities. We are looking for someone who can handle the day-to-day, while helping the team improve operations through strategic initiatives.This role is based at our DNV office in Arlington, VA, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site.   • Overseeing project planning and execution for internally focused strategic initiatives or improvements, including developing plans, leading and guiding project teams and ensuring effective delivery throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leading and supporting logistics for executive-level internal and external events
  • Providing superb support in-person or remotely for events throughout the year
  • Setting and managing schedules and calendars for Chief Commercial Officer
  • Preparing and/or editing documents, such as expense reports, memos, and event plans
  • Creating spreadsheets, managing data, and preparing presentations
  • Negotiating with vendors

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience accepted
  • Minimum seven (7) years of work experience in the areas described
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience in a consulting or legal firm
  • Willingness to undertake new and challenging activities
  • Ability to think creatively to find a solution to a problem
  • An interest in using data and research to tell a story
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and have a positive, team-oriented attitude and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable communicating with team members with different cultural backgrounds and experience
  • Proven ability to manage clients, staff, and tasks to quality, budget, and deadline targets
  • Accustomed to multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

What Is Preferred

  • Experience working in similar roles in a consulting or law firm environment
  • Experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management systems
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience working with brand management or communication teams
  • Project management certification
