Position Overview

Our Washington D.C. office is looking for an Executive Assistant who will be responsible for general office operations and providing support to local team members, reporting into the head of the office. Your role is to support the executive member; create and maintain a well-functioning office; and to support office events and welcome guests.

  • Support executive member’s work, including calendar management, travel arrangement, meeting coordination and business receptions;
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory, and ordering new items as may be required for a well-functioning office;
  • Manage office events, such catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee lists, equipment, etc.;
  • Coordinate with other office administrative leads to ensure compliance with and best practices with office obligations;
  • Facilitate department administrative protocols and procedures; and
  • Organize office and/or department activities for team building.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience, higher is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills; experience on business receptions or willing to learn;
  • Thrives on complex calendar management assignments, adept at prioritizing numerous competing requests with minimal guidance;
  • Exceptional track record of collaborating effectively in a team-oriented setting and consistently demonstrating integrity;
  • Demonstrated capacity to employ tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment consistently, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information;
  • Interpersonal skills and a passion for cultivating team culture and fostering a positive, creative, and productive work environment; and
  • Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with operating office equipment (e.g. printer, projector), and other office systems and tools are a plus.
