An incredible part-time opportunity has become available near Woodbridge, Suffolk, for a compassionate and reliable nanny to care for a delightful 5-month-old baby.The ideal nanny will have prior experience caring for babies and demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and confident demeanour, delivering the highest standard of care.You will assist with the baby’s daily routine, including preparing bottles, supporting feeding times, and meal preparation.Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive, loving care, ensuring the baby’s well-being. You will also be responsible for general nursery duties, and supporting the baby’s nutritional needs throughout the weaning process.In addition, you will engage the baby in stimulating activities that support early childhood development, including playtime, walks, attending local groups, and planning outings to encourage socialisation.Live-in accommodation is offered for the weekend if required, featuring a private, self-contained studio with en-suite, kitchenette and its own entrance, providing both comfort and privacy.The family is looking for a warm, dedicated individual with a genuine passion for working with children.If you are seeking a fulfilling role in a supportive and friendly family environment, this presents an excellent opportunity for you.Location of the job: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny prefered.
Details of any training needed for this job: A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate and an Enhanced DBS check (with update service) are required.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare qualification (preferred); experience with infants is advantageous.
Hours of work: 10am – 6pm minimum, earlier start available.
Days required: Saturday and Sunday.
Pets in the home: Two friendly dogs.
Driving required: Not required for this position.
Job Start Date: 1st June 2025.
Job End Date: 31st August 2025, with the potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Pay: £18 to £20 Gross per hour, depending on experience.
Benefits: Optional live-in accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights, offering enhanced flexibility and convenience for the nanny. Additionally, you will have access to a private gym within the home.
