A fantastic primary school in Blackburn is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join their team starting this September. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment that values the development and well-being of both staff and students.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons.
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based and structured activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to cater to individual learning needs.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Observe and record children’s progress, providing valuable feedback to the class teacher.
- Support children with personal care needs, if required.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting, ideally within the EYFS.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- First Aid and Safeguarding training (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
