Your Opportunity at SECURE:As our Field Sales Representative you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, as well as the planning and execution of the complete sale. This individual must excel at delivering excellent customer service to potential and existing customers. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations group to maintain a positive atmosphere and culture that is strong and vibrant. It is important to have a solid community presence that will build strong working relationships.This role is based out of Whitecourt, Alberta The Team:The Field Sales Representative will collaborate closely with the Operations and Sales teams, ensuring a cohesive, supportive, and vibrant atmosphere. Strong relationships and effective communication are essential as team members work together to meet client needs and uphold SECURE’s values. A positive community presence and team-oriented mindset are crucial in driving success. Work Environment:This is a full-time, permanent position with field-based responsibilities, requiring regular travel to build and maintain customer relationships. The role demands flexibility and self-motivation, with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic, client-focused setting. A Day in The Life:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and managing working relationships with customers
  • Working closely with potential customers to find solutions that meet their specific needs
  • Working closely with the Sales team to provide pricing, conduct contract negotiations, and obtain trucking quotes
  • Working closely with Regulatory, Administrative Assistants and the Operations team
  • Planning and implementation of customer development and retention strategies
  • Constant involvement with the local community, establishing and building relationships within the community
  • Creating a Personal Development Plan to grow along with Secure
  • Adapt and follow and demonstrate SECURE’s vision, mission and values

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or General Education Diploma is required; additional post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A minimum of 3- 5 years of energy service sales and marketing experience
  • Operational experience
  • Previous experience in oil marketing is considered to be an asset
  • Established contacts within the industry is required
  • Proven ability to drive motivation and enable a team-oriented atmosphere is required
  • Excellent selling, communication and strong customer relationship building skills
  • Solid work ethic, self-motivated, able to work with very little supervision, and team oriented
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to meet timelines and attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create technical presentations upon request
  • A high level of professional integrity
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Self-motivated and driven, to stay ahead of new activity coming into area plus managing existing clients
