How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The filling plant operator will be primarily responsible for the safe preparation, loading of delivery vehicles, as well as filling and movement of cylinders of Medical and Industrial gasses while maintaining quality control based on the GMP (Good Manufacturing Process).Shipping of cylinder in accordance to TDG regulationsAssembling pallets and loading/unloading trucks.Preparing empty cylinders for fillingFilling and handling high pressure cylinders while following Air Liquides safety requirementsResponsible for quality and safety controlAdministration and ongoing process involvementPrepare, inspect, set up, monitor and operate filling equipmentCommunicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning cylindersComply with all safety rules and standard safety practicesKeep workstation area and housekeeping at company standardsMaintain and improve efficiency standards through teamworkProduce quality product in the required time framePerform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling and codingPerform proper cleaning of product tanksAbility to perform tasks in other areas if neededAbility to lift and/ or roll cylinders as necessaryOperating material handling equipment including forklifts.Are you a MATCH?Minimum 1-2 years experience in the industrial sectorEducation: high school diploma; has to qualify on Medical filling process and GMPKnowledge of compressed gasses is an assetForklift experience is an assetMust be physically fit, have an excellent work ethic and be a quick learnerPromoting and Achieving SafetyProblem-Solving: self-motivated, goal orientated and strong problem solving skills are a MUST; strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.Technical ability: Basic computer skills and ability to use computer programs Ability to visually observe the operations of the equipment and physically address problems and/or clear machines.Ability to follow detailed instructions & be able to record progress, procedures, steps as completed.Must be able to perform product changeovers, minor operational troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment as needed.Must have ability to complete required safety trainingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working within a team centered environment.Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategyMust be flexible in working hours.
