As a result of our fast-paced acquisition strategy, our Geosciences & Engineering Finance team is expanding. The successful candidate for this Finance Analyst role will work with the businesses within the division, offering support as relevant to each business, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided.This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Flexible and hybrid working is available for this role. The role will be primarily based in Hemel Hempstead but occasional travel to other offices within the UK is anticipated.This role reports to Finance Business Partner – G&E Division.RSK has become a global leader in the delivery of sustainable solutions and in the years to come, we seek to further cement this position, working with our clients to tackle the issues that are defining modern generations. We will not only witness sustainable transformation over the next few years, in RSK, we will help to drive it.Key Responsibilities:This is an exciting opportunity where the role holder will be providing a range of financial analysis and reporting to support the senior management of this rapidly growing Division. Reporting into the G&E Financial Business Partner, they will be working to continually develop management reporting and support the businesses within the Division to meet their business performance objectives. The requirements may change depending on the needs of the management at the time, but will include:

  • Production and continued development of Management and KPI reporting for the Division
  • Analysis and understanding of key financial information
  • Assisting the Division in the management of working capital
  • Project accounting support
  • Assisting in the annual budgeting process
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Divisional leadership team as required

Desired Experience:The role would suit candidates in the early stages of training (1-2 years) for relevant accountancy qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA), and would be ideal support for their learning.Skills:

  • Personable and confident with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation

  • Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of data

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong proficiency with IT systems with excellent Excel skills

Salary and benefits:

  • £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
