Required Qualifications and Skills
· University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
· At least three years of experience in accounting, finance management, budget monitoring, and financial reporting with NGOs, development projects, or donor-funded programs.
· Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project staff, partners, service providers, and stakeholders.
· Very good language skills in Kurdish, Arabic, and English.
· Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting and financial management systems.
· High professional ethical standards, integrity, accountability, and commitment to transparency in a diverse workplace.
· Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling financial records, payroll information, and donor-related documentation.
· Willingness and ability to conduct field visits and travel to project locations and other cities as required to support financial monitoring and project implementation.
· Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required to meet financial deadlines, reporting requirements, and project operational needs.
