We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to manage the collection of outstanding invoices from our customers. This role is perfect for those looking to build their careers in Finance and Accountancy.

  • Monitoring and managing customer accounts for late payments, missed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Contacting clients via phone or email to address discrepancies and resolve outstanding invoices.
  • Coordinating with the Accounting & Finance team to reconcile account discrepancies.
  • Reviewing customer credit applications and determining credit limits.
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Keeping abreast of new regulations and developments in the field of credit control.
  • Providing customer service and support, handling and resolving any issues that may arise.

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
