Organisation: Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)

Work Location: Barnsdale Way, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1ES

Salary: £23,898 – £24,300 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Working Hours: 37 Hours (Mon – Thurs 8.30am – 4.30am – Fri – 8.30am – 4pm)

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

  • Working as part of a small Accounts Payable team supporting our purchase to pay process:
  • Timely posting and processing of supplier invoices.
  • Always communicating with supplier’s and other ESPO staff to resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Supporting weekly payment runs.
  • It also includes some involvement in billing processes.
  • In house training.

About You

  • Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent in both Maths and English Grade C or above.
  • Accounts Payable experience.
  • Trained in customer care and telephone techniques
  • Numerate, computer literate with ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Working as part of a team and the ability of also working on own initiative.
  • Good communications skills.

We’d also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
