If yes, look no further!This highly unique educational organisation is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This newly created role will be the finance subject matter expert for one of the organisation’s key directorates. Working with stakeholders across all levels, including Directors, you will provide sound financial advice and guidance to enable them to make more financially informed decisions and deliver on their ambitious plans for the future.The key duties of this Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Collaborate with senior management and department heads, providing accurate and timely financial information to influence strategic and tactical business decisions.
  • Produce and deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts, budget reports, project reporting, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Lead on the annual budget preparation for your area, and monitor actual versus forecast financial performance, identifying deviations.
  • Provide commercial support including profitability analysis, costings, forecasting, and contract reviews.
  • Work with various departments, providing financial guidance and ensuring clear communication of financial data.
  • Ensure financial data is accurately recorded in the accounting system and drive improvements in financial systems, procedures, and processes.

  • Achieved their full accountancy qualification or be able to demonstrate they are qualified by significant experience.
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and finance business partnering.
  • Ideally, a background working in the higher education sector. Experience with TRAC reporting would be a bonus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish and maintain relationships across all levels.
