As a result of our fast-paced acquisition strategy, our Geosciences & Engineering Finance team is expanding. The successful candidate for this new Finance Business Partner role will work with the businesses within the division, offering support as relevant to each business, ensuring accurate and timely financial information and appropriate processes and financial controls are in place.As each of the businesses differs in size and complexity, this is a highly varied role, pivotal to successful on-boarding of new acquisitions, and is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a real difference to the RSK Group. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Flexible and hybrid working is available for this role. The role would involve a reasonable amount of travel visiting the businesses in the division including future acquisitions.Our philosophy has remained the same: employ, develop and retain talented people. - Analysis, review and challenge of Management Information, developing a close understanding of the levers of financial performance
- Play a vital role in the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting
- Ongoing management and improvements to cash flow, specifically Work in Progress and Debtors
- Administration of the capital expenditure approval process
- Working alongside the existing and newly acquired businesses, assess the adequacy of the existing financial processes and controls.
Person Specification
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with proven post-qualified experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management and colleagues (finance and non-finance)
- Highly analytical, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask with the commitment to meet reporting deadlines
- Financial Operations experience in industry, implementing processes and controls
- Diplomatic, with the ability to influence and to effect change
- Adaptable and quick-thinking with a can-do attitude
- Good Excel skills and a working knowledge of various accounting systems
Salary and benefits:
- £65k – £75k
