- Collaborate with colleagues across Kew Science on new funding proposals to develop comprehensive, fully costed budgets for submission to funders, often working within tight deadlines.
- Manage post-award financial activities for a portfolio of research projects, including monitoring and reporting actual expenditure to ensure alignment with funder requirements, and providing regular financial reports to both researchers and funders.
- Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets for several Kew Science departments, with an total annual budget of approximately £20 million.
About You:
With proven experience in research-funded project accounting, you will join a team of five supporting Kew Science. You will bring a track record of providing professional, collaborative financial support to non-finance colleagues within a diverse organization.This role can be based at either Kew or Wakehurst with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is a leading plant science institute, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and major visitor attraction.
